How much does your service cost?

Our service is completely free for you. We're paid a commission by the lender when your loan settles. This commission doesn't affect your interest rate - lenders pay the same rate whether you come through a broker or direct.

How many lenders do you compare?

We compare over 80 lenders including major banks, credit unions, and specialist lenders. Our system matches you with lenders based on your specific situation - not all lenders suit everyone.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Esteb and Co Pty Ltd (ACN 681 636 056) is an ASIC Authorised Credit Representative. Our company credit representative number is 574070, and principal Richard Esteb holds individual credit representative number 574071.

Pre-approval & Credit

What is pre-approval?

Pre-approval (also called conditional approval) is when a lender agrees in principle to lend you a certain amount, before you've found a property. It typically lasts 3-6 months and gives you confidence to make offers knowing your finance is likely secured.

Will applying affect my credit score?

Our initial assessment does NOT affect your credit score. A credit check only occurs when we submit a formal application to a lender - and we always get your permission first. Multiple applications in a short period can affect your score, which is why we recommend only proceeding with one lender at a time.

Can I get a loan with bad credit?

Yes, we have specialist lenders who consider applicants with credit issues. The rates may be higher, but we can often find solutions for defaults, late payments, or previous bankruptcies. Complete our assessment and we'll let you know your options.

Application Process

How long does approval take?

It varies by loan type and lender. Car loans and personal loans can be approved same-day. Home loan pre-approval typically takes 1-3 days, with full approval taking 5-14 days depending on the lender and complexity of your application.

What documents do I need?

Generally you'll need ID (driver's licence or passport), proof of income (payslips or tax returns), and bank statements. The exact requirements depend on your employment type. See our full document checklist.

Can I save my application and come back later?

Yes! Your progress is automatically saved as you go. Just log back in to continue where you left off. We'll also email you a link to resume if you don't complete in one session.

Account & Security

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset your password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.

Is my information secure?

Yes. We use 256-bit encryption, store data on secure Australian servers, and offer two-factor authentication. See our security page for full details on how we protect your data.

How do I delete my account?

Contact us at privacy@estebandco.com to request account deletion. Note that we may need to retain some records for legal compliance, but we'll explain what and why.
